I agree that you can taste the stevia in it. I don't think it tastes bad. It has a Nesquik quality that I appreciate. Definitely the taste of cocoa powder. I tried it in the water. It has a more runny mouthfeel than I like so I'll try it with some milk to see if that makes it any better. The taste I get of it with water makes me think that using a certain type of milk can really give it that chocolate milk feel. In terms of solubility, I've had no problems blending with a wire ball mixer. In general I like it very much. But I could understand why others didn't.
