This controller is a nice upgrade from the one that comes with fans. The added bluetooth and app is a nice feature too. However, if this controller had Wi-Fi and some kind of API (or even better mqtt), it would be great to integrate it into a smart growing environment, for example with Home Assistant. As it's only Bluetooth, you only get some nice graphics from the app and the ability to set things up in the app, which is a nice bonus, but since you can't always connect it to your network it's limited.
