AC INFINITY IS CHINA! ENOUGH SAID

The temperature sensor loses communication and the temperature and humidity displays do not show anything, and the device does not record values when they are not displayed. .disconnect and reconnect and may work or not. very frustrating as now my event log is useless. Nice to use 6 months of data on this Chinese made product. .it doesn't matter where it was developed. The fact that it's made in China tells you everything about the company no matter what they say. AC INFINITY IS CHINA!

Great controller - would be great if it had wifi

This controller is a nice upgrade from the one that comes with fans. The added bluetooth and app is a nice feature too. However, if this controller had Wi-Fi and some kind of API (or even better mqtt), it would be great to integrate it into a smart growing environment, for example with Home Assistant. As it's only Bluetooth, you only get some nice graphics from the app and the ability to set things up in the app, which is a nice bonus, but since you can't always connect it to your network it'sโ€ฆ

  • Like all others so far

  • Makes me nervous

OK, definitely not perfect.

The interface is very confusing to set automatic day and night schedules based on temperature. You need to set the "off" speed in a separate part of the application, which will be your minimum speed, and the "on" speed, which will be the maximum speed it will reach. The least intuitive thing I've ever used. It would also be nice if you could set a recommended speed, or at least an "off" speed, for each day/night cycle you set. I hope they release firmware/software updates for it as soon asโ€ฆ

Not compatible with my Cloudline S4

Probably works great but is not compatible with my Cloudline S4 fan bought less than a year ago. Will not work with fans that have a power supply connected to the ESC. There should be two wires coming off the fan. A cable (flat 4-pin) that goes to the controller and a power cable that goes to the wall. With my S4 only one cable comes out of the fan. It connects to the speed controller. But the power supply/cable is also connected to the speed controller, so it doesn't work with my fan. Thereโ€ฆ

This is a good buy.: Accessories

The device is amazing. It has its quirks but nothing that would break the deal for me. Everything works and it was the 3rd day. I mainly use it to keep the humidity and temperature from getting too high. I have a wish that the verbose log shows when the fan is at 0 or off. I can see when the fan turns on, but I can't see when it's off or the speed is set to zero. (I've sent bug reports from dev@acinfinity.com and found an email via the app store link in the app.) Anyone having trouble with theโ€ฆ

Very powerful controller but requires reading and calibrating the probe.

So far I haven't looked at the application's controls because I don't have to. Basic controls are not intuitively obvious except for "on". and "off", but if you want to control the fan that way, the included controller will do. But it's not hard either, you just have to read the instruction manual and everything should click. The important part for me right now is setting a minimum and maximum fan speed tied to a high humidity trigger, any other triggers I need to disable, and transitions howโ€ฆ

Cons
  • Available in black only.

Decent unit, could be better, not worth upgrading the existing ECU.

Although it says so in the description, it's still a pity that you can't set the two fans connected to it at different speeds. There is no point in creating an updated controller and not giving it this feature. Also, the calibration is only a percentage from -8% to +8%. It also doesn't make sense, it should be a non-percentage offset value of any height, which is easy to implement. The reason for this is that I had to bring back a previous infinite fan that was giving false humidity readingsโ€ฆ

Cons
  • High price
