I didn't like the painted glass plates that came with my heating pads so I threw them out because the paint corrodes and contaminates essential oils. These clear glass replacement panels are thick and durable. They also fit my two lamp warmer sizes - one fits perfectly and the other is a bit wide, but it's better to have them slightly larger than too small. Smaller bowls hold more liquid (water with essential oils) than it looks. k. You can also have small amounts of potpourri with fine particles like balsamic pine needles and of course you can use wax tarts but commercial tarts with synthetic flavors are very toxic no matter how nice they smell so I own. with beeswax and essential oils.
