I got this brush cleaner/conditioner specifically to clean my nail art brushes that had gotten a little gunked up with gel polish and glitter. I put a small amount of cleaner in a glass dish and swirled each brush a couple times. It definitely seemed to clean the gel out of the brushes and make them nice and soft again.Next I tried some new brushes that had been shaped into a stiff point. It dissolved some of the glue or whatever they used, but even after cleaning, some of the brushes still were a little stuck together. Also, the brushes really absorbed the cleaner liquid and I had to use more than expected to clean 10 brushes.Overall, I'm torn about this product's effectiveness and the bottle being so small, so I'm taking away a star or 2.
