Not Fiskars

Not sure why they are advertised as 'Fiskars' because they are not a Fiskars brand. Our school needs real Fiskars brand scissors so we had to go back. They also say they have a blunt tip, but they're not as blunt as we've come to expect from children's scissors. They also don't open and close as smoothly as the Fiskars. I'm not a fan of brands, but in some things brand really matters, so from now on we'll treat scissors (Fiskars) the same as crayons (Crayola).

Pros
  • Ideal for ages four and up
Cons
  • Unreliable
