It's a costume corset so maybe I'm expecting a bit much hahaha, but the bust isn't really cut to form to breasts. For someone as flat as me it doesn't matter that much, it covers what it needs to, but know that there is absolutely no bust support for those with anything bigger than say a modest b-cup, and there's no wire or boning in the bust at all.It tightens decently, the ribbon ties are drawn from the middle. They're obviously not as strong as cord ties, but they hold fine as long as you order the right size and don't stress it out too much. It probably won't actually do too much cinching.That said it does LOOK quite nice and serves my purposes. It should be okay as a decorative part of an outfit.
