Should be wireless for this price and not a clip.

I'm installing it now and I still have to wonder why they didn't just make this wireless for 50 cents extra. Will it REALLY eat into their profits THAT MUCH or will it have the opposite effect and everyone will buy this device because it will have a wireless rear view camera? I mean people buy it for the backup feature, not that useless DVR or DVR that lets you use the free phone app when the phone is at a $1 stand. I have a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe that looks like the car in the manual. However, like all SUVs, mine has a tailgate that opens! The diagram in the picture shows the wire running through the tailgate, but when this case opens the door the door lifts resulting in an air gap right where the wire runs. The sad part is I don't even know if they have enough cords to get through the door or not, but I'll try. I'll try to get the roof off and pull it through. Another photo of mine shows the rubber mounts that go right through the buttons on my existing rearview mirror, with very tight rubber straps that I thought were about to snap. The cable that came with it was also so short that I had to ask for a longer one! What? Anyone considering buying one should expect to spend a full day installing it and dodging airbags. It's not a trivial task and I'm still considering dropping it so I don't have to drill holes in the car just to install a backup camera and run a cable.
