The durability of this coating did not convince me. Like all Pro Shot products, it gives a glossy finish to whatever you use it on. I have used it on a white painted round farmhouse breakfast table, except for the top which is a lovely dark painted satin oak table top. It gets dirty and dirty pretty quickly and I didn't want the finish to fall apart after a year from constant cleaning. This stuff made it look a little shiny - not bad, and for a while, like two days, it actually looked fine. Then everything went back to normal. I smeared it with orange oil and got a better look and protection that actually lasted longer.
