I bought two Motorola cordless phones as backup phones for my iPhone. I live alone and on several occasions I forgot my iPhone at work and found myself at home without the ability to communicate with anyone when needed. Since landline was so cheap I installed one but had to buy a phone. I decided to go with two, one in the kitchen and one in my bedroom, and I thought they would be reasonable for the price. Well if I could return them now I would. I have two people calling me on these phones one is my son and the other is my sister why because the interference in the phone and the clarity of my voice and the person calling is terrible. Nowadays one would think that a cordless phone would be the easiest to manufacture. My mistake wasn't that I bought a cheap cell phone to have at home in an emergency. At least with the cheapest cell phones, I would have better reception than with the Motorola hands-free phones I've bought. These phones cost five dollars.
