I'm tired of all the problems with my Panasonic phones and just wanted to try another brand without going broke. I like this phone because it has most of the features I was looking for: speakerphone, call barring, backlight, mute, redial, volume control, etc. I also like how it feels in my hand, that it's bright, and that I speak on it, pressed against my shoulder without holding it in my hands (it's absolutely necessary for me). I bought two Motorola cordless phones as backup phones for my iPhone. I live alone and on several occasions I forgot my iPhone at work and found myself at home without the ability to communicate with anyone when needed. I really like this phone, it's been working perfectly for a month, now all I hear is noise. No one can hear me when they call and I can barely hear them. Every 30 minutes at one and a half past one, "Incoming call” flashes on the display if there is no such call. It happens day and night, 48 times a day. I try to look on the bright side as it's a reminder of what time it is. Otherwise no problem. As others have said, the sound is actually a bit "tinny".
