I am writing this review because I love these scissors and saw that there are no reviews yet. As Revain tracks purchases I stumbled upon this site and was pleased to see a record of myself buying a pair 3 years ago. These scissors are strong and cut well and I wanted a second pair to use in another room. My hands hurt very easily when trying to use scissors without a soft inner grip, so I searched photos of scissors on Revain to look for evidence of a "giving" inner grip. Some hurt my thumb, but mine actually gives my average finder a bruise-like nick when using regular scissors. With Maped Ultimate Scissors, the problem is completely solved. My family often rents out my scissors, so the scissors are widely used and show no obvious signs of wear after 3 years. I have relatively small hands and bought the 7" (medium) size for general use.
