Review on Sony SLT-A65V 24.3 MP Translucent Mirror Digital SLR Camera 18-55mm Lens: Review, Features, and Benefits by Liang Chi-en ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am one hundred percent satisfied with the purchase, I recommend this product to everyone.

Bought my first DSLR. We chose Sony, because. we needed him to take good photos and videos. We chose between Sony a65 and a58, judging by the reviews, the difference between them is not big. Sony a65 has good video quality and a viewfinder. But we thought to save money and take the a58. When we compared both cameras in the store, we saw that the viewfinder of the a65 is fundamentally better, the world looks brighter and more interesting through it. Plus, the manufacturer made the LCD monitor better on the a65 and the captured photo looks bright and vibrant. As a result, we purchased a65 with a whale 18\135, because the portrait photo turned out to be more interesting, approximately at a distance of 70-85, which did not allow the 18\55 lens to be realized. With a flash card, they “flyed” a little, bought Sony SD, the read speed is good 40 mb / s, and the write speed is only 10. When shooting in RAW or JPEG + RAW, the recording speed is clearly not enough and the camera slows down. You need to purchase apparently a card with a write speed of 40 mb / s. The photo on the camera monitor looks better, but on a regular computer monitor you can see that the pictures are different. Some lack brightness, others lack saturation, warmth, etc. Therefore, finalizing the photo in Lightroom turned out to be simply necessary. Very satisfied with the purchase, the quality of the photo and video is lively.

Pros
  • + Ideal camera for beginners + Fast autofocus + Live photos (subjectively: a little cold without modification, plus it’s nice to add a little saturation) + Good build + Rate of fire + Excellent video
Cons
  • -There are not enough buttons for quick access to camera functions -There is not enough aperture when shooting indoors with a whale 18 \ 135, the photo is not so detailed and bright -Autofocus sometimes misses in a darkened room -With the built-in flash, the photo is somehow overexposed, especially when shooting in close-The lens collects dust like a vacuum cleaner + The disadvantages are not significant, I think that for other cameras they are about the same.
