Edit 2: 2 stars. I loved it until it died after only ten months of normal use. What was a 5 star rating is now a 4 because the lights don't go out after 30 seconds as advertised. Unedited Review: If this lasts long and doesn't suffer from manufacturing defects... oh my god what a surprise. Construction: almost all metal. I was expecting flimsy plastic mounts or a plastic shell, but the entire body and mount are metal. Fasteners: several pieces. It comes with a strong under-saddle mount and elastic around the seat. Remove this tape and it slips into your belt or whatever you have. Seamless transition from one to the other. The under-saddle mount is also perfect for my installed rack. Directions: OK, I agree with the other reviewers. It sucks. Brightness: Not overwhelming and then the brake light comes on and becomes clearly visible. Timer: I haven't been able to start the shutdown timer yet. Hope this isn't a mistake.
