The pants are very cute and fit very well. As others have noted, there is a gap of about 5 inches on one side of the top row of fringes. I was able to buy a matching 6 inch nylon fringe at a fabric store to fill in for about $2.50. Very easy to fix. Very funny and very practical for rhythm dancing. The fringes on these pants are not as thick as those on professional dance pants, but they also cost half the price of professional dance pants. I usually wear size 14 pants and size XL is perfect for me.
