So far I have used this steam mop to clean linoleum floors and countertops. The large floor pad is very easy to install, just place it on the floor and place the steamer on it. I allowed enough vapor to build up to wet the pad and it didn't roll off for me. The first time I scrubbed the floor I went through all three pads, swapped pads midway through the first pass and then used the third pad to go through the second time, all three were black. You can easily wash them in the washing machine. Thoroughly cleaned the countertops with a hand pad, first took everything off the shelf and everything worked great. Steam only comes out when you take the handle with your hand. To get into the corner, my wife held the steamer while I scrubbed the counter. Attaching and removing the floor pad couldn't be easier: just place the pad on the floor and place the steamer on top. To remove the pad, I simply place my foot on a corner and lift the steamer, the pad is removed instantly; easy dog.
