I have 7 of these bulbs in streetlights. A three-bulb lantern is lit from dusk to dawn (an average of 10.5 hours per day). After 2.75 years two of those bulbs had burned out so I replaced them all. I believe the life of these lamps is approaching 1/3 of the advertised 30,000 hours. Life span. Of course, I've never seen a lightbulb burn for the advertised lifespan, so no wonder. The price has come down a lot, so it's a little easier to buy these bulbs again. Update 8/20/19: The other 4 bulbs in the bus lights are starting to fail and need to be replaced. These 4 lamps burn about 4.5 hours a day as they are controlled by a timer. They lasted 3 years. You will NOT come close to CRLight's statement "EXTREMELY LONG LIFE - 30,000 hours average lifespan, 16 years lifespan (5 hours per day), 2 years warranty". I like the light, but I don't like false advertising. I have now deducted 1 star as 7 out of 7 bulbs have blown after only lasting 15% of their advertised lifespan.
