In a few minutes I connected the first camera and monitor. I have an extra cigarette lighter in my trunk so I bought an adapter from Carviya and all I had to do was connect and plug in the cables. Easy right? I hooked up a monitor and it kept flickering and the image would freeze. I thought I did something wrong so I checked everything including the amperage of the lighters but everything was fine. So I contacted the company. They replied immediately although I believe they are overseas as I will not receive an answer within 24 hours. We went back and forth for a few days while I checked their references, but in the end they agreed to send a replacement. The second block was perfect! I have all 4 bars on the monitor at once. The picture was clear and almost real time. You can tell there is a slight lag, but this is so close to real time. I love that I can leave the camera on all the time and turn it off with a button on the back. The ability to toggle the parking gate on and off is also very simple. For the price, this is a great option if your car doesn't already have a backup camera.
