Review on Gizmo Dorks Laminated Adhesive for Printers: Boost Your Documents' Durability! by Antonio Taveras

I bought this to replace the stock finish on my small Monoprice IIIP Mini v1. After removing the old finish I trimmed it down a bit on one side to fit my bed. I attached it by sliding the adhesive backing back about an inch and a half, aligning the PEI sheet to one end of the bed, and beginning to apply even pressure to the sheet while slowly continuing to peel the adhesive backing away. . This allowed me to slowly lower it over the bed from one end to make sure I didn't get blisters. It sticks very well to my unheated aluminum plate. I hope this takes a while because I'm not looking forward to deleting it, but that's ok. I don't want this thing to pull up when I have a hard pressure jam. For my first few prints I had nothing but a clean PEI surface. Just an alcohol clean before the first layer peels off. It worked very well. I then had to use some glue stick to get my prints to adhere well, which is to be expected since my bed does NOT get hot. I've only printed PLA so can't comment on other materials, but this plate is a great surface. I've only had a few prints, and they were very large, thick, flat surfaces that seemed to constantly shrink and heave at the corners. Now when I print these types of objects I know I need to put in some blue ribbon and hairspray and it seems like it's all holding up. My complex adhesion issues are with my printer and the cooling capabilities of its parts, not this PEI film. I am happy with my purchase and will buy again from this seller without hesitation.
