Seen in a shop. my son freaked out when he saw this. left the store without him. came back and they were sold. I bought it through Amazon and my son loves it. The handlebars don't steer and my son (18 months old when purchased) initially walked on his feet. However, he quickly learned to control his Scooteroo. It can get dangerous when they start doing tricks. for example when trying to climb up a wall/furniture. There is an anti-wheel dovetail on the back. but if your child is determined to climb walls and furniture, they will fall. In fact, he explained what he was trying to do with body language and movement, pointing to the anti-wheel thingy in the back. I think he may have thought it was the cause of his fall, not gravity.
