Review on πŸ”₯ HERZO Grinder Support: Premium Aluminum Grinding Accessory for Enhanced Precision and Stability by Juzer Rashid

Not ideal, but useful.

I don't cut much metal but sometimes the need arises and I've thought about a metal cut-off saw before but it actually suits my needs even better. It's smaller, more compact, and works well with a grinder that many people probably have. If not, then coffee grinders are quite cheap. At first glance, this is a fairly heavy device. Didn't expect that. Seems well done. Not perfect, but pretty good. It's better than "OK if it makes sense". The instructions aren't the worst I've seen, but they're not very good either. It is clear that they were not written by someone whose native language is English. I don't understand why so many companies are so lazy with instructions, showing them no good. There are a few pictures, but they are quite small and you have to make up a lot of things yourself. I think it will take me maybe 1/2 hour to assemble them. .I agree with the other reviewer, the way the grinder is mounted uses clever holes to attach the handle. Although the tool can rotate if you don't actually rotate it. So not the best mount, but it works. Just don't expect this level of precision. I like how the tool glides like a miter saw. This is a short stroke, but it helps cut longer pieces. And it slides well enough. Everything is included in the package. Box, including some Allen keys. But you need a wrench to tighten the nuts. I used an adjustable wrench that worked well. bad instructions, another bad guard. It's plastic and totally out of shape so it doesn't cover the blade very much. It might help a little, but not much. Of course failure. The picture on the packaging makes me laugh. Although this is a stand for an angle grinder, it shows a saw with a blade for cutting wood. But they also show chopping down a tree that you could do. It's just not my first choice for cutting wood. The attached clamp is also heavy, but its position is in the way. You can still drive the blade deep enough to get past the base, but it will get in the way. That could probably have been done better. In general, the stand isn't bad, just not perfect. But for the price and the fact that it works I would recommend it.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
