This is a good addition when you need a pair of needles instead of a circular needle. To do this I bought a second cable for a 16 inch circle. I also wanted two sets so I can use two cords for the stitch holders and also for another knitting project if I have more than one project. The only thing I've noticed with Heartstoppers is that the yarn sometimes gets tangled in it, and that mostly happens when I put my work aside. It's just a very small thing. I'm glad I bought them and found them very comfortable. I have a project right now and there are a lot of stitches in the circle so I use heart stops to keep the stitches from slipping off the hook when I stop knitting. Thanks to the system of additional channels, they are much more reliable than glasses from other manufacturers. A set of these should actually be included in every addi needle set.
