Works very well but the cord is a little short

I used this to switch a 5V Arduino switch for my homemade spot welder. I like the low price of this footswitch. I ended up extending the short cable with the thin wire I had. It has three wires that allow it to be configured as normally closed or normally open or both. White wire is common, red is normally open, black is normally closed. It did its job and was very cheap.
