Not high quality metal.
These legs can technically be made out of metal, but it should be the thinnest and most brittle metal you can find. I wouldn't buy them if they are used to hold a lot of weight. Also, be sure to tighten each leg (there is a large screw on the inside of each leg) BEFORE attaching them to a table or wherever you are attaching them.
