This sweeper is great. I mainly used it for touch ups, but when I took it for a test run I ended up sweeping everything. It is durable and has a long metal handle compared to others made of plastic. So don't worry about it breaking or bending under pressure. It also does an excellent job of picking up items from both carpeted and tiled/wooden/etc floors. I haven't tried the rubber rotor yet, but plan to. It's smaller but I don't need anything obtrusive that I have to find a place for. It's a soft gray color so it won't draw much attention if left unchecked. Picks up all kinds of dirt, and no, it doesn't pick up all pet hair and lint when you have a lot of it, but like a velvety lint brush, it picks them up in balls making them easy to pick up. Great little caretaker.
