Review on Yellow Mountain Imports Japanese Mahjong by Adam Krueger

After I bought this set, players told me that you don't actually need to buy a specific set , but you can use a regular mahjong set because you don't need the special pieces included in this set. People don't play with red 5 tiles, nor with these flower tiles. Manufacturers are supposed to stuff boxes with this tile to fill the boxes like they use for Chinese sets. I like the small tiles versus the big Chinese chunky ones so I kept this set. I find it attractive but keep in mind that the colors are white and yellow and things you normally see as red like the dragon are not red in this set. They are well colored and of good quality.
