Shinier than Snake-y

You'd think you'd like this coat better if you thought of it as a shiny burgundy trench coat rather than a red snake coat. The shade of red used is a bit dark at first, so the contrast with the black snake print isn't as strong as I had hoped. And unfortunately, the impressive sheen blurs the print even more. Therefore, the snake print is most visible in any light other than yellow (giving the coat a uniform burgundy hue with little trace of the print). I pick this up when I know I'm under white light, or on blustery days when the coat looks great against the gray sky (gee, a raincoat...shocking). find that the coat still requires additional expense for the tailor to source and sew on either sew-on buttons or real buttons with custom buttonholes to keep the coat properly and permanently closed. Relying solely on a sash to tighten the waist is probably not a good strategy in the long run, as it requires quite a strong tug on a tight knot, a tactic that can tear the belt over time. My guess is that Blanknick decided to save money on jacket fasteners, although I think the consumer would have paid a little more for them. And you will probably find that the coat needs to be brought closer to the body as it is very generously cut in the chest and waist (shoulders are pretty dead as structurally Blanknik knows how to make a jacket. As for the reviewers, the expressing their dissatisfaction with the lack of lining - unfortunately I don't think these reviewers have much experience with PU leather The pink material on the inside of the coat is considered to be a lining for PU leather and it seems that Blanknik has also become that Material a little hazy which makes the coat even more comfortable to wear (and wear. It's pretty comfortable in my opinion.) I think the reviewers were expecting the satin lining found on more expensive coats to the existing PU lining, so the satin lining can actually add unnecessary weight and potentially rob the coat of breathability.
