Good quality product, as with all aftermarket items the plastic clips just don't seem strong enough. Overall it was perfect for the Escape 06 and the long motor tail just snaps into the strap making installation very easy in 20 minutes.

It does NOT come with the required hardware (3 nuts) as the original part is held on by screws. It should state what is required to replace the device. Replacing videos on You Tube is very useful; get ready to get dirty.

Perfect as always! I have replaced broken car windows with Dorman products over the last few years and they are consistently BETTER THAN OEM at a very reasonable price. If you need to replace a slow or broken window mechanism - or whatever - check out these guys first.

It looks and fits almost like the original except the original equipment is metric which is SAE. In the original, the motor is held by 3 screws, you need 3 nuts for this. Go to a hardware store and purchase the 5 nuts required before beginning the installation. Dorman had to turn them on as they are not the same as those on the car.

I installed this unit on my 2005 Ford Escape today because the window was starting to get stuck in the closed position. After installing that I tried the window and it goes up and down like it should. I would like to warn you that the Dorman part is slightly different from the factory part as it requires 3 nuts to attach the regulator to the frame.
