Review on Hamilton Beach 49968 Connected Replenishment by Miriam Davis

I was very happy with this coffee machine. I have a Keurig car at my home in Michigan but I currently live with my family. And here, too, I wanted to buy a coffee machine. I thought the price was decent, others with a 40 ounce or larger tank are more expensive. It was the size I wanted and 3 different drink sizes. I made salted caramel coffee, it worked great. I made a cappuccino and it turned out great. Had a second cup of cappuccino, everything is fine. The fourth time I started the car, put the K-cup in, did the same as before, left to do something, came back and the car was a mess and a counter! I noticed the water was running out so I figured it happened. I cleaned up the mess and filled it with water. A little later I went to make another cup. And did the same! Chaos all over the car and on the counter! I made sure it was filled with water and every time I made sure the lid clicked into place. I have no idea what makes them suddenly cause a mess! once. Love the looks, love that it has a 40 ounce tank, love the 3 size settings. This makes it possible to use k cups or brew coffee grounds - I make k cups. But I'm incredibly upset and embarrassed that he's suddenly doing this! I would give this machine 4 or 5 stars, I give it 2 stars because it's great when it WORKS. But it's NOT great when he makes a mess! I was going to make another mug but I'm afraid she will do it again! **Edit** removed another star because it is now leaking.
