I've ordered one for each of my dogs: a mini doxy at just under 8lbs, a standard doxy (which is fat) at around 18lbs and a coonhound mixed with a Great Dane and possibly a Ridgeback that weighs about 90 pounds. Measure your dog's neck using the manufacturer's instructions. These collars are true to size. I usually buy high quality Petsafe radio fencing collars. I need them when the wireless fence is not in use and I think they are of even better quality. I was concerned that the broken part would chip off too easily, but based on my own testing I don't think that will happen. I also like that there is a ring on each side of the breakaway so you can walk your dog and turn off the breakaway by simply attaching the leash to both rings. I will try to update my review if anything changes but I have a feeling this will continue to be our approach. I just wish they came in more colors and designs.
