Extender, Cat 6, video works

This product is good for video signal extension. We use a desktop computer for PowerPoint and for video presentations in our church. Projector distance is more than 25m, HD signal and we are using an Epson PowerLite Pro G6800NL projector with 7000 lumens on a 9x12 screen with very good results. The Monoprice HDMI cables sent to us are so stiff that they cause connection problems. We will try to use more flexible cables to solve the problem. If you are using Category 6 (not Category 5) Ethernet cables for signal transmission, be very careful when connecting the connectors and make sure they are working properly. You can buy a cable tester that will tell you if the ethernet cables are good; also suitable for computer network cables for maintenance workstations. It's important to know that cords don't cause the problems you attribute to extension cords. I know these things, having troubleshooted and troubleshooted our church's video and computer network systems. We have 6 buildings with wifi and video for all facilities.

Pros
  • Splits the HDMI input into two HDMI outputs via a Cat5e/6 cable
Cons
  • I will write later
