This product is good for video signal extension. We use a desktop computer for PowerPoint and for video presentations in our church. If you are using Category 6 (not Category 5) Ethernet cables for signal transmission, be very careful when connecting the connectors and make sure they are working properly. You can buy a cable tester that will tell you if the ethernet cables are good; also suitable for computer network cables for maintenance workstations.
