The problem started the first time I plugged the USB cable into the device, it caught on the metal tab inside, folding it back and preventing the cable from plugging in until I dug the tab and bent it forward again. I've never had this with a USB port in my entire life. So far there have been no problems with communication. Also, this is one of the best translations I've ever seen. Edit: This is worse than I thought. This almost certainly killed my MSI 1060 card and at least damaged my spare RMA 1060. When I returned the card I just assumed I was unlucky with MSI as I had never used that brand before. What happened was that the card never worked again and the fans were always 100% at full speed. Now my 1060 replacement, while still mining reliably as long as I don't even touch the GPU riser, is a useless card for gaming. I decided to test it all by myself for a day to see if the card might sell, but randomly of course, but usually when cooling down after a gaming session the whole system stalls hard and the fans do a weird 100 % impulses for a while. It is also useless that the green LED on this adapter always flickers randomly, which can indicate a malfunction of the adapter. Right now I can only use this map for mining as long as it cooperates. This will never be a playing card again.
