Well, the rest of the reviewers are right. The bags are not at all as advertised. They are larger, heavier and designed for a very different purpose than the tiny glassine pouches previously available in this ad. However, there are some positive qualities. 1) Although thicker, the waxy interior is great for sealing if you have heat shrink tape. Just seal like in a shrink bag. (Just don't try to make it smaller!) 2) The larger size doesn't matter if you're using it to seal a little treasure. Simply cut and seal. I was very disappointed when they arrived. But at $5.99 for 100 I decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did. I may trim them down in the future but they look professional and neat. So don't worry about my goals. FYI: If you use them for stamp collecting, they just aren't transparent enough for that.
