missing features and functions

I ordered the base model D2R. The product photos show it with a GoPro style mount which I assumed was included. I think it's a shame that the holder isn't included. If you don't already have a GoPro mount, you'll have to order one of the more expensive options to get the mount. The manual says that this flashlight has 3 modes: High, Low and Strobe. High power mode is fairly bright but lasts less than 3 hours. The energy-saving mode is significantly darker, but lasts 6.5 hours. They don't say how long the battery will last in strobe mode. The flash is bright and fast; perhaps too obnoxious to actually use. I wish the bright mode lasted longer or there was a slower flash mode with high brightness but low battery life. I like the flashlight's compact size and solid metal body. Even the GoPro connector on the flashlight is metal. I like that the flashlight uses a modern USB-C charging cable, although I'm not told how fast it charges.

Pros
  • Adjust the angle of the light up and down so that the top edge of the main spot of light illuminates the waist of oncoming people, can be illuminated far enough, but also so that the spot of light does not shine into the eyes of oncoming pedestrians and drivers.
Cons
  • Protection
