Review on Polder TMR 607 769RM 100 Minute Kitchen Digital by Michele Russell

Decided to give this cute little guy a chance. I wasn't impressed and decided to return for the following reasons. 1 - The battery cover will not stay in place. It's a pivoting type and a piece of tape could have fixed it, but the design is poor and shouldn't be a problem straight out of the box. 2 - This is just a countdown. not up! I use this feature all the time to see how long it takes me to cook certain dishes, heat certain pans, etc. three buttons. I wouldn't expect it to last for years. 4 - The audio is decent in volume but very high pitched and harsh to my ears. this is of course a personal matter. I'm about to order a Lux CU100 which I used for years until my ex showed up. I took it with me when I moved. So much for changing things while sticking with what works! :)
