Review on Delphi Roady XT SA10276 XM Satellite Radio Receiver by John Raj

New XM user and this is my first XM radio. So far it works perfectly. The device is very easy to use, small and has many presets. Large screen that allows you to change the display to your liking. The only criticism of the device is the mounting material. It comes with two types of brackets and none of them fit my car. The bracket that allows you to attach it to the air vents (air conditioner vents) is too short, so the clip never touches the fins/louvers. Another method is to use a stand, which only allows you to place it horizontally. I need something that will allow me to install it like a bobblehead. It doesn't have to be a hit on the radio. The bracket is just a shortcoming for my car. The signal stays strong wherever I've traveled. I was a bit disappointed that not all channels are ad free. Luckily I can just tune in to a different station for every commercial. XM doesn't seem to sync all of its channels to show ads at the same time. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the service from XM. Pros: Small, Intuitive design, Inexpensive, Multiple presets, Good display. Cons: Mounting hardware may not work for your application. Sometimes the preset buttons don't respond. It doesn't happen that often. XM does not offer free commercial listening. The strike is not against the radio, but for the service.
