I love this radio but I'm disappointed that the FM modulator turns off when you plug it into the optional Home Dock. The phone support was very helpful in resolving my setup issues. However, SureConnect is a mess of cables hanging all over the dashboard.

Good compact device. Note that SureConnect is actually a long cable that plugs directly into your car's FM antenna. If you have a whip antenna, this is it. If you have an antenna installed in one of your windows, run the SureConnect cable through your vehicle and mount the SureConnect receiver over the FM antenna on the window. I bought this a few weeks ago and it had everything you need to install it in the car in different ways. I went to their website, everything worked in 15 minutes. Audio is clean and clear on 85% of the channels. The advantage of this device is that you can buy a home kit with a remote control and use it both at home and on the go. I bought this for my mother as a Mother's Day gift and she is very happy with it. It simply snaps onto the air outlet and you connect the adapter to the cassette deck of your car radio. Thing is, there are wires everywhere that don't seem to bother them, but it does bother me. The manual recommends gluing the antenna to the rear window but doesn't specify how to route it out from the outside so the wires don't stick out. I am very pleased with this receiver which was my introduction to XM. I'm getting incredible reception in my car and looking forward to getting a home kit to take home. New XM user and this is my first XM radio. So far it works perfectly. The device is very easy to use, small and has many presets. Large screen that allows you to change the display to your liking. The only criticism of the device is the mounting material. It comes with two types of brackets and none of them fit my car.
