Review on Delphi Roady XT SA10276 XM Satellite Radio Receiver by Djkutt Kent

Poor FM reception for this production Roady

This Roady is the second I've recently bought, it replaced the previous one which was having trouble getting satellite content on an unused frequency to my car FM radio. This second block showed the same problem. A workaround will follow. Perennial Rhodey, who started this replacement saga, failed due to an unrelated issue. And that's okay. However, this device had no problem broadcasting content on an unused FM frequency. It's important to note that two of the new devices experienced transmission difficulties. Why? the Roady's VHF signal strength was as strong as it had been a few years ago. Poor or no reception on my car FM radio. The workaround, while cumbersome, is to use the included blank cassette adapter, which plugs into the Roady's audio output and passes the signal to the cassette's magnetic pickup in the radio. car radio. All is well if you have a cassette deck as part of your radio. Inaccurate quality control.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
