The photo of the part is misleading. This is likely to result in returns without a dust boot. After carefully studying the part, I decided to install it and understand why it needs an external dust cover covering the entire stock, but there isn't one. In fact, this is probably the best way to seal a ball joint. Well done MOOG engineers for thinking outside the box. Well if the connection is self holding I wouldn't buy this design unless it's available.
