This filter does its job well, but there are downsides. it's slow It pours badly. It filters about a liter at a time, although it certainly holds more. I use this to filter water for my Sodastream bottles. I have a lot because I drink a lot of water (and some soda). It took quite a while to fill the whole bottle, so I kept filtering to fill a couple of old 2 liter bottles of seltzer. Water really tastes good - NO! what's the point. It just takes a little patience to filter and store enough beforehand in case you don't get around to cleaning your liter bottles in time.
