I read the reviews and saw that some people reported that it was leaking. There is a tiny vent on the lid. So if you pour it with the vent at the 6 o'clock position, it will leak. The spout is designed for pouring with a breathing hole at the 12 o'clock position. Without a facepiece, flow stops as soon as sufficient vacuum is generated during aspiration. The o-ring under the cap looks good and should not leak when the cap is carefully unscrewed. The lid cap is nice and keeps the soy sauce from evaporating when not in use for a long time. .
