Overall these Columbia snow pants are great. As mentioned by other reviewers, the sizes run large. I have a large 5 year old and bought the XXS (4/5) on recommendation and am glad I did. It fits perfectly and he will be able to wear it next year because of the OUTGROWN SYSTEM feature. Size XS would have been too big for sure. The size chart on the winter pant reads: US XXS: 4/5 (I found this to be large for a 4 year old. Suitable for a 'normal size' 5 year old with some room to grow. XS: 6/7S : 8M : 10/12L: 14/16XL: 18/20 The "OUTGROW SYSTEM" function is as follows: 1. Turn the pants inside out A permanent change, since you are now removing the seam, making the pants shorter). 3.
