Review on πŸ”ͺ Durable DEWALT Diamond Blade for Dry Cutting Masonry - 4-1/2-Inch Continuous Rim Blade (DW4725) by Glenn Kumar

Path. fits blades

Did an excellent (and quick) job of cutting a few holes for sockets in some of the 2ft ceramic tiles I installed. I've also used it to cut some bricks to length and trim the edges of a hole in concrete before renovation to eliminate joint issues and improve the post-renovation appearance. It also removed stubborn mortar residue quickly and accurately in preparation for target operations. Right, all of this could be done with grinding wheels. The work created a lot of dust, but not as much as the sanding pads I've tried. The grinding path would also take much longer and require a large number of wheels. After all this work, the diamond-set rim of the disc shows no visible signs of wear. For less than $11,000, and since it's much faster and seemingly lasts indefinitely, a person who has to deal with a whole bunch of specialists cutting masonry will find that a diamond blade is a lot cheaper per inch of cut than cheaper ones grinding wheels. When it comes to huge time savings, there is no competition.

Pros
  • Easy to use
