I used a pair of these to connect a home and business being built a few hundred yards away. Setup was easy and they worked much better than other more expensive wireless bridges I've used in the past. They are also a lot smaller than I expected. In a relatively short distance I used them, the alignment was not difficult, just point them in the approximate direction of each other and I got 4 bars of signal strength and very good connection quality according to the web configuration pages. Simply set one as an access point and the other as a station, enable WDS on both, and configure the SSID and encryption settings to match on both devices. Bam, it looks like you ran a very long cable between your two locations. I'm not sure if this is correct, but the image Revain is currently showing for this article is incorrect. Just recently it was changed for some reason and now the picture shows a completely different Ubiquiti product. Simply do an image search on Google for the model number of this device to ensure you are seeing an accurate image of what you are receiving. If you can set up your wireless router without using the "Do it for me" wizard, then you can set them up. Setup is pretty easy and there are plenty of helpful videos on the Ubiquiti website too.
