Corrective insoles not tailored to my feet or shoes.

After using these, I found out the hard way that when it comes to arch support insoles, it’s best to get ones specifically tailored to your needs. I am a size 9 (f) and used these in my leather work booties (booties are a little slimmer than sneakers, about 2 inches at heel). After using for 4 hours, the arch portion injured that area of my foot and I got a bruise at the top of my right foot in that area. The tightness of the bootie against the sturdiness of the insole must have been too much for my foot to handle and 2 weeks later my foot is still bothering me. The heel portion of the insole is extremely thick and hard compared to other insoles I used. Finally, I decided to spend good money on an insole at chiropractor who took into consideration the specific areas that need support as well as the kind of shoe I wear most often and the difference is night and day. They are thinner, more flexible and create support on 3 instead of one area.

Pros
  • I have used it for one month. I think this item really can help correct o-type leg.
Cons
  • The insoles may not offer enough cushioning for those with sensitive or painful feet
