Review on 🌞 Thinksport Sunscreen SPF 50 Ounce: Premium Protection for Sun Safety by Adara Delgado

Expensive and not worth the extra effort.

When I got it today, I applied it to my face, neck, arms and legs and then rode my bike for 1 hour. This sunscreen is easy to apply and smells pleasant, a little lemony. It leaves a white film on the skin, but you have to remember that this is a "physical" sunscreen, meaning it physically blocks or reflects the sun's harmful rays off your skin, unlike many other products that do this on a chemical basis do away. . My guess is that Thinksport only does this if you apply it thick enough that it leaves a visible white (think reflective) film on your skin. I applied it thick enough to leave that film and I'm happy with it. However, it wasn't kind to my red sleeveless shirt either, which I think might be stained with zinc oxide on the screen. Ironically, I received this month's Consumer Reports the same day I received my order for Thinksport sunscreen and they rated this sunscreen 29th out of 35 lotions tested. Their tests reportedly showed the actual SPF to be 0-9 instead of the claimed 50+. I have no idea how accurate their tests are and to be honest it's not the biggest and most annoying issue for me. However, I suspect that people who don't apply it thickly enough to leave a white film on their skin are not getting the maximum SPF advertised. The biggest negative issue for me is how much it hurts to wash things off. I spent at least twice as much time in the shower as I normally do wiping and wiping dirt off my hands and feet. At first I applied my usual amount of shower gel to my clothes but as soon as I started washing my hands the suds disappeared and the clothes barely slipped on my hand. I think I used about 25% of a bottle of shower gel and also alternated with bar soap until I finally felt like I had washed it all off. Achieve your desired sun protection factor. However, IF you don't like the idea of a white reflective film on your skin and don't want to spend twice the time, twice the water and twice the soap washing it off your body, then maybe not. . your sunscreen.
