Review on 🎧 Enhance Your Turntable Experience with Audio-Technica AT-VM95ML Dual Moving Magnet Cartridge in Red by Nathan Skipper

I received the VM95ML yesterday and spent about 5-7 hours on it. U-Turn Orbit game with acrylic disc and cork mat. The most notable difference with Ortofon 2m Red is that the extreme brightness of the red has disappeared. The tone is more even in frequency. Bass is solid but not overwhelming, highs are crisp but not overly bright, while mids are punchy and punchy. This wagon is a definite upgrade from the 2m red one! In terms of tracking, I played back some of my most hackneyed recordings and vm95ml handled it all. I have not heard to miss! That said, it's certainly not quiet as it picks up all that extra noise anyway. I've only experienced internal groove distortion on Night Rangers' "Sister Christian" on a used record on a track that has definitely been overused. No other record contained IGD. So far I'm very happy with this cartridge and can't wait to see how it sounds once it's broken in!
