Review on 🎨 Dyvicl Professional Charcoal Pencils Drawing Set - 12 Pieces for Sketching, Shading, and Drawing - Ideal for Artists and Beginners by Jessica Lewis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent selection of unsharpened charcoal pencils

I've only recently returned to art and have drawn and sketched a lot. I've used charcoal sticks in the past, where you tear off strips of paper to reveal the charcoal, but they're messy. These charcoal pencils are more like pencils - the outside is made of wood so your fingers don't get dirty. They come in three levels of hardness, but while the hardest allow me to draw clean, neat lines, more like a mechanical pencil than charcoal, I didn't notice much of a difference between the levels of hardness. Even the soft pens were harder than the regular soft pens I use. This is a good set and would make a good gift for a beginner or for those sketching on the go, but I would have preferred pencils included. sharpened. Although none of the pens were as soft as I wanted (it would be nice to add some extra soft pens to this set), I found them useful and all three hardnesses blend well when outlining and shading. I will definitely use them a lot. I would consider this a 4 1/2 star rating.

Pros
  • Art supplies
Cons
  • Expensive

I like the price, but the soft ones are almost impossible to sharpen
