Not sure, so

When it arrived I felt like I got a good deal. It was more than expected. I commend the designer for the simple and inexpensive design. Unfortunately, it's fairly cheap and haphazardly made. The lights and dynamo shone, the rest looked like cheap matte metal, the metal parts of the taillight were dull. and look cheap. I polished the metal parts on the dynamo and tail light as it was to be installed on a new bike. The flashlight mounts were completely useless for my setup. I ended up making all my mounts. The light switch is complete junk, it sticks and it is difficult to switch between high and low beam. This does not come with LED bulbs, not sure if they will work with the ever changing current a dynamo puts out but will update this if I try. After mishandling, I found that a wire in the dynamo had come loose. The dynamo's back plate is attached under pressure for easy removal. It was quite dirty inside, there was paper insulation pad and some kind of very brittle wire. Pika was a joke too. I managed to solder a new wire from the coil pack to the pin and it worked fine. The low beam is bright, the high beam is not very bright, but it diffuses more. It spreads out along the road in front of you, illuminating the path a bit. Not like a motorcycle or car light but enough to see and more importantly to be seen by others. He is working on a motorized bicycle. At around 5 km/h you can see the light, at 15 you can see the road a bit. What does all this mean for you? Nothing if you can't get it a lot cheaper with free shipping ($15 at the time of purchase) or if you want the best and don't want to do any work with it. If that's the case then you'd be better off getting something of better quality and I'm not sure where you'll find it. My photos show polished parts with a home made bracket and headlight installed.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
