I have used these little gems to burn movies from Tivo onto a Toshiba 570 DVD burner with great results. There were no recording errors and I did not experience any loss of video or audio. Movies saved at Best Quality and then shot at Best Quality appear to be identical. The only difference I've noticed is some signal degradation when recording in SP mode or slower, but I believe that's more a characteristic of the lower recording quality at slower speeds and not the fault of the medium. I've experienced similar signal loss when using other brands of media when recording at SP or slower. So far I've had no problems or loss of quality overwriting a disc that's already been used. I doubt I'll ever be able to rewrite enough to find the actual limits, which most manufacturers claim are up to 1000x. I can confidently recommend these Maxell media.
